Local Browser Processing

Many ToolsFam utilities run locally in your browser where possible. Examples include JSON formatting, encoding and decoding, hashing, QR generation, many image edits, text utilities, metadata generators, and several PDF workflows. For these tools, your input is processed on your device and is not intentionally uploaded to ToolsFam servers.

Server-Assisted Tools

Some features require server-side processing because browsers cannot perform the task alone. Examples may include API proxy requests, website screenshots, generated Open Graph images, authentication flows, or saved workspace features. When a tool requires server assistance, only use data that is appropriate for that tool.

Files, Text, and Inputs

ToolsFam does not sell your files, text, or generated outputs. Do not paste production secrets, private credentials, regulated records, or confidential customer data into any online tool unless you understand how that specific tool processes data.

Accounts and Supabase

If you create an account, ToolsFam may store account-related information such as your email address, display name, synced favorites, saved sessions, snippets, workflow definitions, and user settings. Authentication and account data may be handled through Supabase.

ToolsFam does not automatically store sensitive tool inputs unless a feature clearly asks you to save something, such as a workspace session, snippet, or flow.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

ToolsFam may use localStorage for preferences such as theme, recent tools, favorites, drafts, sidebar state, and Toolie visibility. The site may use analytics to understand page views, broken routes, performance, and product usage patterns. Analytics should be used to improve the site, not to sell personal data.

No Sale of Personal Data

ToolsFam does not sell personal data. If this changes, the policy must be updated clearly before that practice begins.
