The tool uses an open-source background removal model in the browser. On first use, model files may download and cache locally; the selected image is processed on your device instead of being uploaded to ToolsFam. That makes it a better fit for draft product photos, internal screenshots, and quick creative work where unnecessary uploads are not ideal.

Clean subject separation works best with sharp photos, clear contrast, and a visible subject edge. Hair, glass, shadows, transparent objects, motion blur, and very busy backgrounds can still need manual cleanup.
